We are working on an exciting and ambitious project: the building of an all season shelter at the trailhead area of Blue Mound State Park. Most of the proceeds from our two trail runs and the Horribly Hilly Hundreds bike event go toward this project. The cabin at Blackhawk is a good example of how a warm, dry place can benefit the enjoyment of the surroundings in all seasons.
